• Always read the label and follow directions for use.
• Pharmacist consultation may be required before supply.
• This is a Schedule 3 Pharmacist Only Medicine.
• Do not use if under 18 years of age.
• Do not use if you are allergic to famciclovir, penciclovir, or any ingredient in this medicine.
• Do not use if you have problems with your immune system unless advised by a doctor.
• Do not use if you have kidney problems unless advised by a doctor.
• Ask your doctor or pharmacist before use if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy, breastfeeding, over 50 years of age, have diabetes, high blood pressure, heart problems, liver problems, other medical conditions, or take regular medicines.
• Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you have symptoms or signs of an infection other than a cold sore.
• This medicine does not cure the viral infection or stop cold sores from spreading to others. Avoid kissing, sharing drinkware or towels, and touching the affected area until the cold sore has healed.
• This medicine may cause dizziness, sleepiness or confusion in some people. Be careful driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you.
• If symptoms do not improve within a few days, become worse, or if side effects occur, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
• If an overdose is taken or suspected, contact the Poisons Information Centre on 13 11 26 or go to hospital immediately.

• Active ingredient: Famciclovir 500mg per tablet
• Other ingredients: hyprolose, macrogol 3350, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polyvinyl alcohol, purified talc, sodium starch glycollate, titanium dioxide

• Store below 25°C.
• Keep tablets in the blister pack until use.
• Keep out of reach of children.
