Panamax 500mg Tablets 100 contain paracetamol, an analgesic used for the temporary relief of pain and discomfort and to help reduce fever. It may be used for pain associated with headache, arthritis, muscular aches and other suitable everyday pain conditions when used as directed.

Warnings & Important Information

• Contains paracetamol. Do not use with any other medicine containing paracetamol.
• Do not use if you are allergic to paracetamol or any ingredient in this medicine.
• Do not use if you have liver or kidney problems unless advised by a doctor or pharmacist.
• Do not take more than the recommended dose. Incorrect use may cause serious harm, including liver damage.
• Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have liver or kidney disease, regularly drink alcohol, are malnourished, have a severe infection, have Gilbert’s syndrome, or take other medicines.
• Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy, breastfeeding or planning to breastfeed.
• Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you take warfarin or other blood-thinning medicines, medicines for epilepsy, metoclopramide, domperidone, chloramphenicol, flucloxacillin, rifampicin, probenecid, cholestyramine, medicines for depression or sleep, or other pain relief medicines.
• Seek medical advice if symptoms persist, worsen, or if new symptoms occur.
• Stop use and seek urgent medical help if you develop signs of an allergic reaction, such as rash, swelling of the face, lips or tongue, wheezing or difficulty breathing.
• If you think you have taken too much, contact the Poisons Information Centre on 13 11 26 or go to the nearest Emergency Department immediately, even if you feel well.

• Other ingredients: Maize starch, purified talc, pregelatinised maize starch, povidone, stearic acid, potassium sorbate
• Contains: Potassium sorbate
• Does not contain gluten, lactose, sucrose, tartrazine or azo dyes

Storage Instructions

• Store below 30°C.
• Keep tablets in the blister pack until it is time to take them.
• Store in a cool, dry place away from moisture, heat and sunlight.
• Do not store in the bathroom, near a sink, in the car or on window sills.
• Keep out of reach of young children.
• Return expired or unwanted medicine to a pharmacy for safe disposal.
