Novasone 0.1% Cream 15g contains mometasone furoate 1mg/g, a high-potency topical corticosteroid used for short-term relief of inflamed, itchy and irritated skin conditions that respond to corticosteroids, such as eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis.

This cream is for use on the skin only and should be applied as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. This 15g pack is a Schedule 3 Pharmacist Only Medicine.

• Do not use if you are allergic to mometasone furoate, other corticosteroids, or any ingredient in this product.
• Do not use on viral skin infections such as cold sores, shingles or chickenpox.
• Do not use on fungal skin infections such as thrush, tinea or ringworm.
• Do not use on acne rosacea, inflammation around the mouth, tuberculosis of the skin, or skin conditions with ulcers.
• Do not use in or near the eyes.
• Do not use on the face, large areas of skin, skin folds, under dressings, under nappies or plastic pants, during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or for more than 7 days, unless a doctor has told you to.
• Tell your doctor or pharmacist if your skin condition worsens, appears infected, or does not improve within 1 week.
• Long-term or excessive use of topical corticosteroids may increase the risk of side effects such as thinning of the skin.
• If accidentally swallowed, contact the Poisons Information Centre on 13 11 26 or seek urgent medical attention.

• Active ingredient: Mometasone furoate 1mg/g
• Other ingredients: White soft paraffin, hexylene glycol, aluminium starch octenylsuccinate, propylene glycol monostearate, stearyl alcohol, ceteareth-20, white beeswax, purified water, titanium dioxide, phosphoric acid
• Preservative-free: Novasone Cream does not contain preservatives

Storage Instructions

• Store below 25°C.
• Do not refrigerate.
• Store in a cool, dry place away from moisture, heat and sunlight.
• Do not store in the bathroom, near a sink, in the car or on window sills.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Return expired or unwanted medicine to a pharmacy for safe disposal.
