Mersynofen Tablets 30 contain ibuprofen 200mg and paracetamol 500mg in one film-coated tablet. It is used for the temporary relief of acute short-term pain and/or inflammation, including headache, migraine, toothache, backache, muscular aches, period pain, sore throat, rheumatic pain, arthritis pain, and aches associated with colds and flu.

• Do not use with other medicines containing paracetamol, ibuprofen, aspirin, or other anti-inflammatory medicines unless advised by a doctor or pharmacist.
• Do not use if you have liver or kidney disease, pre-existing heart problems, asthma, stomach ulcer, stomach bleeding, gastrointestinal disease, unexplained bleeding, or severe dehydration.
• Do not take if you are pregnant or planning pregnancy unless advised by a doctor or pharmacist.
• Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are breastfeeding, take regular medicines, have recently had major surgery, consume large amounts of alcohol, or have other medical conditions.
• This medicine may cause tiredness or dizziness in some people. Be careful driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you.
• Stop use and seek medical advice immediately if you develop signs of allergy, breathing difficulty, swelling of the face, lips or tongue, chest pain, vomiting blood, black stools, severe skin rash, or worsening symptoms.
• If you think you have taken too much, contact the Poisons Information Centre on 13 11 26 or seek urgent medical attention.
