MediChoice Ibuprofen 400mg Tablets contain ibuprofen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used for the temporary relief of pain, discomfort, inflammation and fever. It may be suitable for adults and children over 12 years when stronger ibuprofen relief is appropriate and pharmacist advice has confirmed suitability.

• Do not use if you have or have had a stomach ulcer, stomach bleeding, rectal bleeding, heart failure, severe liver disease, kidney disease, aspirin-sensitive asthma, or if you are being treated for pain after heart bypass surgery.
• Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy, breastfeeding, over 65 years, have asthma, heart disease, high blood pressure, stomach problems, liver or kidney problems, bowel conditions, bleeding problems, or take other medicines.
• Do not take with aspirin, other ibuprofen products, or other NSAID medicines unless advised by a doctor or pharmacist.
• This medicine may cause dizziness or drowsiness in some people. Do not drive or operate machinery if affected.
• Seek urgent medical advice if you experience breathing difficulty, swelling of the face/lips/tongue, rash, vomiting blood, black stools, or signs of severe allergic reaction.
• If you think you have taken too much, contact the Poisons Information Centre on 13 11 26 or seek urgent medical attention.

Storage Instructions

• Keep tablets in the pack until it is time to take them.
• Store in a cool, dry place below 30°C, away from moisture, heat and sunlight.
• Do not store in the bathroom, near a sink, in the car, or on window sills.
• Keep out of reach of young children.
