LOMOTIL TAB 2.5MG (8 pack)

• Always read the label and follow directions for use.
• Pharmacist consultation may be required before supply.
• Schedule 3 Pharmacist Only Medicine. Supply requires pharmacist assessment.
• Do not give to children under 12 years of age.
• Do not use if you are allergic to diphenoxylate, atropine, or any listed ingredient.
• Do not use if you have jaundice, inflammatory bowel disease such as ulcerative colitis or Crohn’s disease, bacterial colitis, amoebic colitis, or diarrhoea caused by pseudomembranous enterocolitis after antibiotic use.
• Tell your doctor or pharmacist before use if you have liver disease, kidney disease, Down syndrome, a history of drug abuse, or take other medicines.
• Speak to your doctor or pharmacist before use if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy, breastfeeding, or intending to breastfeed.
• Do not drink alcohol while taking this medicine.
• Lomotil may cause drowsiness or dizziness. Be careful driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you.
• Tell your doctor if your diarrhoea contains blood or lasts for more than 2 days.
• Keep out of reach of children. Accidental overdose in children can cause serious breathing problems or death.
• If too much is taken, contact the Poisons Information Centre on 13 11 26 or seek urgent medical attention.

• Active ingredients: Diphenoxylate hydrochloride 2.5mg, atropine sulfate monohydrate 25 micrograms
• Other ingredients: Sucrose, acacia, sorbitol, talc, magnesium stearate, liquid paraffin

• Store below 30°C.
• Keep tablets in the blister pack until it is time to take them.
• Store away from heat, direct light, moisture, and steamy or damp places.
• Do not leave in the car on hot days.
• Keep out of reach of children.
