EpiPen 300mcg Auto-Injector contains adrenaline, also known as epinephrine, for the immediate emergency treatment of anaphylaxis, a severe allergic reaction that may be life-threatening. It may be used for severe allergic reactions caused by triggers such as foods, medicines, insect stings or bites, latex, or unknown allergens.

Each auto-injector delivers one pre-measured 300 microgram dose of adrenaline. This product is a Pharmacist Only Medicine ? Schedule 3 and should be kept readily available for the person it is intended for.

Warnings & Important Information

• Do not remove the blue safety release until the EpiPen is needed and ready to use.
• Do not inject into the hands, feet, ears, nose, buttocks, genital area or directly into blood vessels.
• If accidental injection occurs into the hands, fingers or feet, seek urgent medical attention.
• Do not use if the solution is cloudy, coloured, contains sediment, or the viewing window is obscured.
• Each EpiPen is single use only. Do not attempt to reuse it after activation.
• Keep the EpiPen readily available with the person for whom it is intended.
• Speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you have heart disease, high blood pressure, thyroid problems, diabetes, asthma, narrow-angle glaucoma, severe kidney problems, are pregnant, planning pregnancy, breastfeeding, or taking other medicines.
• Contains sodium metabisulfite, which may cause allergic-type reactions in some people; however, in an emergency, the benefit of adrenaline generally outweighs this risk.
• After using EpiPen, call 000 and continue to follow your anaphylaxis action plan.

• Other ingredients: Sodium chloride, sodium metabisulfite, hydrochloric acid, Water for Injections
• Contains: Sulfites

Storage Instructions

• Store below 25°C.
• Temperature excursions between 15°C to 25°C are permitted.
• Keep in the protective carry tube until required.
• Protect from light.
• Do not refrigerate.
• Do not store in the bathroom, near a sink, in the car or on window sills.
• Replace if the solution appears cloudy, coloured, contains sediment, or the viewing window is obscured.
• Keep out of reach of children.
