CHLORSIG EYE OINT 1.0% 4G

• Always read the label and follow directions for use.
• Pharmacist consultation may be required before supply.
• Pharmacist Only Medicine – Schedule 3.
• Do not use in children under 2 years unless advised by a doctor or optometrist.
• Do not use if you are allergic to chloramphenicol or any listed ingredient.
• Speak to your doctor, optometrist or pharmacist before use if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy, breastfeeding, using other eye medicines, have a history of blood disorders or bone marrow problems, or have a corneal injury.
• Seek medical advice before use if you have eye pain, swelling around the eye, blurred or reduced vision, sensitivity to light, limited eye movement, cloudy eye, abnormal pupil, eye injury, suspected foreign body, glaucoma, dry eye syndrome, recent eye surgery or laser treatment, or if you feel generally unwell.
• Do not wear contact lenses during treatment. If wearing soft contact lenses, wait 24 hours after completing treatment before using them again.
• This medicine may temporarily blur or distort vision. Do not drive or operate machinery until your vision is clear.
• If symptoms worsen at any time or do not improve within 48 hours, seek prompt medical advice.
• Do not share this medicine with anyone else, even if their symptoms seem similar.

• Active ingredient: Chloramphenicol 10mg/g, equivalent to 1% w/w
• Other ingredients: Liquid paraffin, soft white paraffin, wool fat
• Preservative: Chlorsig Eye Ointment is preservative-free

• Store below 25°C.
• Protect from light.
• Store in a cool, dry place away from moisture, heat and sunlight.
• Do not store in the bathroom, near a sink, in the car or on window sills.
• Discard 4 weeks after opening.
• Keep out of reach of children.
