ALLERSOOTHE ELIX 100ML

• Always read the label and follow directions for use.
• Pharmacist consultation may be required before supply.
• Do not use in children under 6 years of age due to the risk of serious breathing, psychiatric and central nervous system effects.
• Children aged 6–12 years should only use this medicine on pharmacist or medical advice.
• This medicine may cause drowsiness, dizziness or blurred vision. Do not drive, operate machinery or do anything dangerous if affected.
• Do not drink alcohol while taking this medicine, as drowsiness may be increased.
• Do not use if you are allergic to promethazine, phenothiazines, sodium benzoate, or any ingredient in this product.
• Do not use if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding unless advised by a doctor or pharmacist.
• Do not use if you are taking or have recently taken monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs).
• Ask your pharmacist or doctor before use if you have breathing problems, glaucoma, epilepsy, heart disease, liver or kidney problems, prostate or bladder problems, thyroid problems, Parkinson’s disease, myasthenia gravis, stomach ulcer or blockage, or a history of blood disorders.
• Check with your pharmacist or doctor before use if you take sedatives, sleeping tablets, opioid pain medicines, antidepressants, other antihistamines, medicines for irregular heartbeat, antipsychotics, seizure medicines, or medicines for nausea and vomiting.
• Seek medical advice if symptoms persist, worsen, or if you experience fever, sore throat, infection symptoms, breathing difficulty, swelling of the face, lips or tongue, or signs of an allergic reaction.
• Keep out of reach of children.

• Store in a cool, dry place away from moisture, heat and sunlight.
